Erma Young Luginbill, resident of Greenbrier Nursing Center and longtime member of the Goltry community, passed away at the age of 101 on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015. Erma was born Aug. 10, 1913, the daughter of George and Anna Marie Gross Young. She was raised in the Dacoma area.

She was married to Francis Luginbill on July 19, 1931. They were married for 55 years until his death. To this marriage, they were blessed with two sons. She was a homemaker.

Some of her favorite hobbies were fishing with her husband, going to garage sales, making beautiful quilts and cooking. She loved to spend time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. After 101 years of life, she will be truly missed.

She is survived by six grandchildren, Cindy Severin and husband Brian of Goltry, Darla Barger and husband Dudley of Stigler, Kevin Luginbill of Kellyville, Debbie Ward and husband Jim of Perry, Bryan Luginbill and wife Jeannie of Orlando, and Andy Luginbill and wife Gina of Owasso. She also is survived by 14 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and two daughters-in-law, Sandy and Bonnie Luginbill.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons, Bob and Delbert, and six sisters.

Graveside service for Erma will be 2 p.m. today, Feb. 10, 2015, at Karoma Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home Inc., Helena. Viewing is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. today, Feb. 10, at the funeral home.
