Funeral services for Martha Harman, 99, of Meno, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, 2007, at Victory Bible Church with Pastor Thurman Sparks officiating. Burial will follow in Karoma Cemetery, Goltry, OK, under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Martha was born June 20, 1908, on the family farm southwest of Goltry, the daughter of Tobias and Nettie Unruh Becker and went to be with the Lord Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2007, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

She married Austin Harman Nov. 23, 1928, in Enid. He preceded her in death May 1, 1975. They lived in Major County all her life. She was a member of Victory Bible Church.

Survivors include her two children: one daughter, Betty and husband Pastor Thurman Sparks; one son, Jerry and wife Elsie Harman of Meno; eight grandchildren, Larue, Lyle, Lavatta, Rhonda, Vernon Jr., Cynthia, Teena and Robert; 12 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Martha was preceded in death by four brothers, four sisters, one grandson and one great-grandson.

Memorials may be made in Martha’s memory to Victory Bible Church with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
