Karoma Cemetery


October 28, 1915 - March 21, 1997

Goltry – Graveside services for Ilene Wofford Corby, 81, will be at 2 PM Monday at the Karoma Cemetery, Goltry, with the Rev. Tom Swartz officiating. Services are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

She was born October 28, 1915, in Laverne to Herbert and Sara Smith Wofford and died Friday, March 21, 1997 at Highland Park Manor.

She attended school in Jet and married Lloyd C. Corby on January 14, 1936, in Fairview. She lived in Goltry for most of her life.

She is survived by three sisters, Dorothy Preston of Enid, Letha Hopkins of Jet, Eva Clark of Chanute, Kansas, and one brother, Elvin Wofford of Mission, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, three sisters and one brother.

Memorials but be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Cancer Division with the funeral home serving as custodian of the funds.
