The funeral for Lida Elaine Wayman Cooper, 76, of Hemphill, Texas, will be 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28, 2008, at Memorial Presbyterian Church, San Augustine, Texas. Dr. Sam Wayman and the Revs. Wayne Mote and Bo Owens will officiate. Burial will be 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 1, 2008, in Karoma Cemetery, Goltry. Arrangements are by Starr Funeral Home, Hemphill. Family visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. today, Nov. 26, 2008, at the funeral home.
She was born May 18, 1932, in Alfalfa County to Jesse Earl and Mildred Mable Secord Wayman and died Monday, Nov. 24, 2008, in Hemphill.
She lived 12 years in San Antonio, Texas. She was a CPA and a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are her husband, Lloyd Gene Cooper of Hemphill; two daughters, Nancy Hood and Cammy Canfield; six brothers, Clarence Wayman, Phil Wayman, Hugh Wayman, Bob Wayman, Sam Wayman and Jay Wayman; two sisters, Ruthalie Heffner and Betty Hollingshead; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Stone Oak Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 20024 Crescent Oaks, San Antonio, TX 78258.
