Service honoring the life of Molly Rose Brown Belmont, 84, will 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, 2014, at Brown-Cummings Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ron Olson officiating. A private burial will be in Kroma Cemetery.
She was born Jan. 10, 1930, in Tulsa, Okla., to Trammel and Onelia Graves Brown.
She was raised in Calument and later moved to Goltry with her family, where she graduated from Goltry High School in 1947.
She attended the University of Oklahoma A&M, graduating with a degree in elementary education in 1951.
She taught for several years before marrying Joseph Belmont in 1955.
She is survived by her children: daughter, Cathy Stair and husband Tom of Enid, and son, Erik and wife Laura Chen of Seattle, Wash.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Robert, Richard and James.
