Karoma Cemetery
Funeral services for Alvin L. Becker, age 97 of Enid, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 21, 2004 at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Thurman Sparks officiating. Burial will follow in the Karoma Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Alvin was born March 6, 1907 in Taloga, Oklahoma to Barney and Nettie Unruh Becker and passed away Saturday morning ,July 17, 2004 at The Living Center.
He married Irene Johnson on June 3, 1928 in Anthony, KS and she passed away on July 28, 1990.
Alvin farmed most of his life in the Goltry and Carrier communities. He was a member of the Victory Bible Church, Christian Union Church, Christian Business Men, and he was involved with the Jail Ministry for over 40 years.
His son Curtis L. "Jim'' Becker and his wife Dorotha of Enid; one sister, Irene Johnson of Enid; and one brother Arthur Becker of Enid survive Alvin.
His wife; two sisters, Elda Johnson and Violet Wayman; three brothers, Henry, Benny and Carl preceded him in death.
Memorials may be made to the Victory Bible Church or Hospice Circle of Love with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the fund.
