Lillian May Porter
December 7, 1943 - September 22, 2024
Lillian May Porter went to her heavenly home on Sunday, September 22nd at the age of 80. She was born in Enid, OK on Dec. 7th, 1943 to William G. and Charlotte (Lottie) Hollander.
She was the youngest of 7 children raised in the Hollander Hills, north of Goltry, OK. She graduated valedictorian in 1960. On May 7th, 1971, she married Michael Porter at St Luke's Methodist Church in Enid. She worked as a licensed abstractor for over 30 years. She loved children and also ran a daycare out of her home. Her passion was her love for her family and having the toilet paper under instead of over.
Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother and 3 sisters.
She is survived by her husband Michael of the home and children Kent Janes (Sheri), Karen Clepper (Alan), Keli Pilkington (John) and Cody Porter and 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The family would love to thank the caring support she received from the 3rd, 4th, and 5th floors of St. Mary's Hospital and the excellent staff at Greenbrier Skilled Nursing Facility.
A celebration of life service for Lillian will be 2:30 PM, Friday, September 27, 2024 at the Community Bible Church with Pastor Bill Smith and Lance Davidson officiating. Burial will follow in Karoma Cemetery. Visitation with the family is Thursday 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory. Online condolences at www.andersonburris.com.
