The funeral for Bruce Lynn Unruh, 57, of Ringwood will be 2 PM today at Lanman Funeral Home Chapel in Helena. The Rev. John Edwards will officiate. Burial will follow in Good Hope Cemetery, southeast of Helena.
He was born November 4, 1947, in Enid to Leonard and Wanda LeCrone Unruh and died Friday, November 5, 2004, at his home.
He lived most of his life in the Ringwood area, where he worked for Pig Improvement Company. He also worked at Frank Church Wilderness in Idaho as a hunting and fishing guide. He had recently moved back to Ringwood from Colorado, where he had been employed by Cornella Brothers Inc. as a heavy equipment operator.
He served in the Navy.
Surviving are his wife, Phyllis of the home; one son, Joshua Unruh of Havelock, North Carolina; one daughter, Mellissa Mathis of Wichita, Kansas; two stepsons, Terry Rowlan of Greeley, Colorado, and Doug Sparkman of Denver; two step daughters, Sherry Russell of Palco, Kansas, and Deana Johansen of Nevada, Missouri; one brother, Jay Unruh of Colorado Springs, Colorado; one sister, Sonja Edwards of Ringwood; three grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; and seven step – great – grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
