Hazel Ross
The funeral for Hazel Ross, 88, of Helena, OK., will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Nazarene Church, Helena. The Rev. Dean Holt will officiate. Burial will be in Good Hope Cemetery, south of Helena. Visitation will be today from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m., and at the church before service. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc., Helena.
She was born July 30, 1916, in Helena, OK. to John and Lucy Wadkins Snider and died Saturday, March 5, 2005 in Integris Bass Baptist Hospital, Enid, OK.
She attended schools in Timberview, Chaney Dell, and Helena.
She married Floyd Ross July 15, 1933 in Alfalfa County. She was a housewife and helped farm with her husband.
She was a member of McWillie Extension Club.
Surviving are a daughter, Phyllis Egger of Ringwood, OK.; eight grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd, in 1999, two sons, two sisters, two brothers, and a great-grandson.
Memorials may be given through the funeral home to the Helena Nazarene Church.
