The services celebrating and honoring the life of Iris Faye Piersall will be held at a later date in the New Hope United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the Good Hope Cemetery, Helena. Services and direct cremation care are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Iris Faye Piersall was born September 25, 1931 to William Glen and Alta March Piersall in Shattuck, Oklahoma and passed from this life November 30, 2020 in Enid, OK.

She was raised and educated in Helena Oklahoma from the age of three graduating from Helena High School with the class of 1950. She attended Enid Business College. In 1952 she went to work for Union Equity Coop retiring after almost thirty-nine years in 1990. She was a member of St. Luke’s Methodist Church which after a merger with a sister church became New Hope United Methodist Church. She was a faithful member, teaching Sunday School classes and being very active in all occasions until failing health. She was a longtime volunteer for Hospice Circle of Love and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star # 174.

She is survived by one sister in law, Janet Piersall, Helena, OK; two nieces, Glenna Mahieu, Enid, OK, and Koleta Burton, Alva, OK; three nephews Glen Piersall, Seattle, WA, Jack Snider, Kingfisher, OK, and Brian Piersall, Harper, TX and numerous great nieces and nephews and families.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, John Piersall and Curtis Piersall; one sister Avis Snider; and one great nephew.
