Boy Killed By Lightning Near Helena

Milo Packard was instantly killed Monday morning 3 1/2 miles east of Helena, while driving a header on his father's farm. A harvest hand at work with him was knocked down and rendered unconscious by the bolt, which also stunned three horses. The electrical storm was accompanied by a heavy rain.

The deceased was a son of Mr. and Mrs. D. Packard and a brother of Gene Packard, a pitcher on the Kansas City federal ball team.
