Good Hope Cemetery


The funeral for Capitola A. McIntire, 90, was at 10:30 AM Wednesday at Goodwin Funeral Home. The Rev. Leonard Tolle officiated. Burial was in Good Hope Cemetery southeast of Helena. She died January 23, 1994, at Helena Care Center.

She was born October 21, 1903, southeast of Aline to Charlie and Mindy Carl Lockhart. She grew up in the Aline area where she attended school. She married David Riley Cash in 1922 in Cleo Springs. He preceded her in death.

In 1959, she married Vernon McIntire in Cherokee. They lived in Helena. He also preceded her in death. She continued to live in Helena until March 1986 when she entered the care center.
