John Harlan Masquelier
Helena, OK. -- The funeral for John Harlan Masquelier, 41, will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday at First Christian Church of Helena with the Rev. Bill Coburn officiating. Burial will follow in Good Hope Cemetery under the direction of Lanman Funeral Home.
He was born March 29, 1957, in Enid, OK. to John I. and Jean Liebrand Masquelier and died Thursday, May 21, 1998, in St. Mary's Mercy Hospital in Enid.
He graduated from Chisholm High School, Enid, in 1975 and was engaged in farming in the Helena area. He was a member of the Helena Masonic Lodge, Timberlake Boosters Club, and the Helena Christian Church, where he served as deacon and chairman of the board.
He is survived by three children, Andrew, Elizabeth, and Aaron of the home; his mother, Jean Masquelier of Helena; his sister, Jan Barker of Dalhart, TX.; and his grandmother, Margaret Marley of Mesa, AZ.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Jeff.
Memorials may be made to Masquelier Children's Benefit Fund through the Lanman Funeral Home.
