Margaret Marley
Helena, OK. -- The funeral for Margaret Marley, 87, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Helena First Christian Church with the Rev. Litton Logan officiating. Burial will follow in Good Hope Cemetery under direction of Lanman Funeral Home. The casket will be open 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
She was born Oct. 05, 1912, in Elkton, to George D. and Dollie Ewing Drolte and died Thursday, May 04, 2000 at Springdale Health Care Center in Mesa, AZ.
She attended local schools and graduated from Helena High School in 1929. On Aug. 21, 1931, she married Harlan F. Marley. They farmed near Helena for many years. She was active in several organizations, including Order of Eastern Star and First Christian Church. She retired to Mesa in 1989.
She is survived by her daughter, Harlene Marley of Gambier, OH; one granddaughter; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, one brother, one sister and two grandsons.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the church building fund or Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.
