Glenna Lee Mahieu was born on September 25, 1934, at Shattuck, Oklahoma, to Benjamin Leroy (Bill) Polin and Avis May (Piersall) Polin and passed from this life on July 21, 2021, in Enid, Oklahoma.
After the death of her father, Glenna and her mother moved to Helena. Glenna attended Helena School.
Glenna married Ivan Mahieu on June 28, 1951, and they were married for 56 years. After getting married they moved to a farm south of McWillie to raise their family. With all but one of her six children in school, Glenna went to work for her mother and Jack at Snider's Meat Market.
Glenna is survived by her children, Billy Mahieu and wife Regina, Jimmy Mahieu and wife Paula, Jean Ann Robbins, Mary Blackledge and husband Jim, and Peggy Bowers and husband Doug; a daughter-in-law, Susie Walters; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Jackie Snider.
Glenna is preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Mahieu; son, Johnny Leroy Mahieu; son-in-law, James Robbins; one brother, Jerry Snider; and three sisters, Dorothy Faye Wagner, Peggy Jo Sweatt and Belva Shoemaker.
Funeral service for Glenna will be Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Helena United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Good Hope Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc., of Helena. Viewing will be Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. www.lanmanmemorials.com Facebook: Lanman Funeral Home Inc.
