Willeta Faye Shepard Maddux
A graveside service for Willeta Faye Maddux, 73, of Pine Junction, Colo., will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Good Hope Cemetery, Helena, OK. The Rev. John Wofford will officiate. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Helena.
She was born July 5, 1931, in Helena, OK. to Virgil and Goldie Hawkins Shepard and died Monday, Jan. 17, 2005 in Aurora, Colo.
She graduated from Helena High School and a college in Bethany, OK. She then attended the University of Denver. She married Maynard Maddux July 22, 1951. They moved to Oklahoma in 1956.
Surviving are a daughter, Lynthria Boss of Highlands Park, Colo.; a sister, Leona Peck of Geary, OK.; a brother, Art Shepard of Helena, OK.; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and a brother, Lowell Shepard.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Helena Baptist Church.
