The funeral for Neva Jane Mahieu Harrison, 88, of Helena, OK. will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Helena United Methodist Church. The Rev. Dean Holt will officiate. Burial will be in Good Hope Cemetery south of Helena. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc., Helena.
She was born Sept. 17, 1916 in Helena, OK. to Joseph Celestan and Mary Jane McCray Mahieu and died Saturday, March 5, 2005 in Greenbrier Nursing Home, Enid, OK.
In 1934, she graduated from Helena High School.
She married Wesley Harrison May 20, 1944, in Clinton, OK. He died Nov. 23, 1953.
She worked at Enid State School until her retirement. She returned to Helena. She attended the Nazarene Church in Helena.
In addition to her husband, Wesley, she was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Helena EMS, Hospice Circle of Love, or Oklahoma Medical Research.
