Elisabeth “Beth” M. Dupus, longtime Helena, OK resident, now of Cushing, passed away early Saturday morning, November 26, 2011 at the age of 91 years.
The daughter of the late Jerome Barnes and Bernice Tollette Barnes, Beth was born on December 22, 1919 in Belva, OK and was raised and educated in that area.
She was married to Edwin C. Dupus on November 6, 1937 and to this union one son, Alfred was born. Edwin preceded her in death on April 27, 1992.
She was a member of the Philadelphia Church of God in Edmond.
She enjoyed sewing; working in her garden; she enjoyed her puppy dogs and cats and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her son Alfred L. Dupus of Mannford, OK; one brother J. D. Barnes and his wife Carolyn of Baird, TX; 5 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother Calvin Barnes.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at 10 A.M. in the Memorial Chapel of the Davis Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the Good Hope Cemetery at Helena.
