Roger Lee Cronin, 90, of Helena passed away on September 8, 2020. Roger was born on March 29, 1930 at the farm home southeast of Helena to parents, Jess and Ruby Clark Cronin. He attended country school for eight years and graduated from Helena High School in 1948. Roger married Lael Lu Heck on October 20, 1950. Roger was raised and baptized in the Helena Baptist Church as a child and was then a member of Helena Christian Church as an adult.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Norma Ruth Adkisson, and his son, Stewart Lee Cronin.
He is survived by his wife, Lael; his daughter, LuAnn Detmer and husband, Dan; his grandsons, Jason Detmer and Michael Detmer and wife, Shawna, and his sisters, Carole Shepard and Ruby Eileen Capps.
Funeral service for Roger will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Helena United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Good Hope Cemetery with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Helena. Viewing will be Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
