Elmira Louise (Boon) Bridgforth was born on May 31, 1943 to Lloyd and Elizabeth (Hightower) Boon in Watonga and passed away on May 17, 2020 at her home in Helena. On June 6, 1960 she married Norman Westley Bridgforth and they moved to Belton, Missouri. In 1972 they moved back to Oklahoma after purchasing a cement plant in Breckenridge which became B and B Ready Mix. In 1973 they sold their part of the company and moved to Helena where they purchased the cement plant. They ran the business until they sold it in 2003 to retire. In March 2010 they went back to work part-time at Helena Country Grocery until August 2017. Elmira enjoyed sewing and making quilts for her family. She also said that her favorite job was being a wife and mother.

Those who preceded her in death are her husband, Norman Bridgforth; parents, Lloyd and Elizabeth Boon; three sisters and three brothers.

She is survived by her children, Lisa Jantz and husband, Eric and Donald Bridgforth; grandchildren, Jillian Svetgoff and husband, Wade and their children, Bennett, Lincoln, and Laney; Julie Espeland and husband, Matt and their daughter, Jasmine; Ashley Feeback and husband, Brett and their children, Allie, Maxwell, and Edie; Baylie Bruns and husband, Casey and baby Bruns; one brother, Lloyd Boon and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be Thursday, May 21, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Good Hope Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, May 20, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
