Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thurs. at Good Hope Cemetery in Helena, OK. for Lorisa Rae Bailey, 83, who died Tuesday in an Enid nursing home. Officiating will be Paul Enabnit, pastor of Davis Park Christian Church, Enid, and Eugene Spillman, pastor of First Christian Church in Cherokee, OK. Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Bailey was born Feb. 10, 1904 at Carrier, OK. and as a child moved with her family to Helena. She moved to Cherokee, in 1952 and to Enid in 1986.
She and Cecil Bailey were married Dec. 19, 1923 in Enid, OK. He died in May 1986. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Hazel Stroud, and a granddaughter. She was a member of First Christian Church at Cherokee.
Survivors include a daughter, Vivian Ratliff of Enid, OK.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The casket will be open at the funeral home Wednesday and until 8:30 a.m. Thursday.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation through the funeral home.
