Coeta Eileen (Roberts) Adkisson
RINGWOOD - The funeral for Coeta Eileen Roberts Adkisson, 72, will be 10:30 a.m. Friday in Faith Center at Meno. The Revs. Cody Anderson, Jon Larsen and Terrill Parvin will officiate. Burial will be in Good Hope Cemetery, south of Helena. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home Inc. of Helena. The casket will not be open at the funeral home. A memorial book will be available for signature. Before the service Friday, the casket will be open at the church.
She was born Feb. 28, 1931, at Fay to B.W. and Bessie Booth Roberts and died Wednesday, June 18, 2003, at her home in Ringwood.
She graduated from Watonga High School in 1949 and attended Oklahoma State University, graduating in 1953 with a degree in vocational home economics. She taught school for 28 years at Ringwood, retiring in 1986. She then worked for Oklahoma Child Welfare until 2001. She and Roy Adkisson were married July 19, 1962.
Surviving are her husband, Roy of Ringwood; four children, Debra Craig of Mutual, Andy Adkisson of Belfield, N.D., Mark Adkisson of Ringwood and David Adkisson of Watonga; two sisters, Joy Wills and Pat Goerke, both of Watonga; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Faith Center or to Hospice Circle of Love.
