CHEROKEE - Paul Aaron Skidmore died Friday morning in an Enid hospital following a period of ill health.

His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the First Baptist Church with Dr. Jerald Holt and the Rev. Curtis Moser officiating. Burial will be in the Garrison Cemetery, east of Dacoma. The Grapes Funeral Home of Cherokee is in charge of arrangements.

Skidmore was born at Dacoma January 14, 1905. He had farmed in the Lambert-Cherokee area most of his life. Skidmore was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Carmen Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include his wife Mildred of the home; a daughter Mrs. Delmar (Carol Ann) Dotterer, Cherokee and four grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter and a brother.
