The funeral for Mildred L. Skidmore, 84, was at 1 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Alan Runge officiating. Burial was in Garrison Cemetery near Dacoma directed by Wentworth Mortuary, Carmen.
She was born February 25, 1906 near Aline to Benton and Sarah Haun Clark. She died November 10, 1990 at Carmen Home.
She graduated from Carmen High School. She attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University and graduated with a teacher's certificate, working as a teachers assistant for a short time.
She married Paul A. Skidmore on July 2, 1927. They lived on a farm in Lambert. He died January 13, 1978. She was an artist and operated a ceramic shop on the farm. She was also active in the Red Cross and was a member of First Baptist Church.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter.
Survivors are a daughter, Carol Ann Dotterer of Cherokee; four grandchildren and one sister Wilma Cobb of Enid.
Memorials may be made to the church.
