Garrison Cemetery


Enid,OK — The funeral for Lillie Ann Morrison, 84, will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008, at Dacoma Church of God. The Rev. Connie Kinnard will officiate. Burial will be in Garrison Cemetery. Arrangements are by Marshall Funeral Home, Alva. Family visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2008, at the funeral home.

She was born Nov. 22, 1924, in Okeene to Abraham and Carolyn Bechtold Bekker and died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008, in Alva.

She attended Isabella School.

She married James Fredrick Morrison in 1945, near Dacoma. They lived in Walnut Grove, Calif., for 24 years before returning to Dacoma. She worked 37 years at Whittets in Dacoma, retiring in 2005. She was a member of Dacoma Church of God. While in California, she helped with the March of Dimes.

Surviving are three sons, Robert Ray Morrison of Dacoma, Carl Wayne Morrison of Delano, Tenn., and Mark Allen Morrison of Oklahoma City; one brother, Ben Bekker of Peoria, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred, one son, one infant daughter, three brothers, and two sisters.

Memorials may be made to the funeral home for expenses.
