Ruby Ellen Sharp, daughter of the late Cary Harvey and Uclare (Cooper) Crusinbery, was born January 22, 1921, in Woods County, Oklahoma, and passed away April 25, 2006, at her home in Dacoma, Oklahoma, at the age of 85 years, 3 months, and 2 days.
Besides her parents and her husband Frank, she was preceded in death by one son, Ray Sharp, four brothers, William, James, Clarence, and Chester Crusinbery; and five sisters, Anna Johnson, Blanch Hudgins, Clara Crawford, Hazel Crusinbery, and Viola Belle Crusinbery.
Ruby is survived by five sons, Roy Sharp and wife, Jody, of Weatherford, Larry Sharp and wife, Berlene, of Garber, Bill Sharp and his wife, Angie, of Dacoma, Gary Sharp and wife, Janelle, of Enid, and Robert Sharp of Ames; five daughters, Wilma Fleming and husband, Calvin, of Wichita, Glenda Lewis and husband, Larry, of Alva, Betty Davidson and husband, Edward Sheley, of Florance, South Carolina, Mary Maltby and husband, Chris of Pratt, Kansas, and Connie Flaming and husband, Sam, of Alva; one daughter-in-law, Loretta Sharp; and two sisters-in-law, Zada Sharp of Bushland, Texas and Minnie Belle Sharp of Amarillo, Texas.
Also surviving are 37 grandchildren, Barbara and Daniel Watson, Jeanette and Murray DeVore, Brenda and Vince Scripsick, Jan Fleming, Kathy and Brian Stark, Stacy and Sabra Davidson, Tracy and Jackie Davidson, Sheridan and Brad Postier, Brad and Michelle Sharp, Kyle and Nikki Sharp, Drew and Brandy Sharp, Charlie Sharp, Michael Sharp, Jessica Sharp, Wacy and Jodi Sharp, Trent Sharp, Garrett Sharp, Lacey Maltby, Breanna Maltby, Blake Flaming, Cody Flaming, Matt Flaming, Stan Ryel, Brian and Kathy Ryel, Travis and Ashley Ryel, and Lance Ryel; 23 great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 29, 2006, at the Dacoma United Methodist Church with Reverend Bonnie Batman officiating. Interment will be in the Eagle Chief Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Alva.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Dacoma United Methodist Church.
