Eagle Chief Cemetery

Earl E. Hoskins, 83, 1804 W. Walnut, died Sunday in a local hospital after being stricken earlier at his home. His funeral will be at 10 AM Wednesday in the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. R. T. Eichenauer officiating. Burial will be in the Eagle Chief Cemetery west of Aline.

Hoskins was born September 18, 1896, in Texas. He lived in Aline for 10 years and moved to Enid from Durant in 1941.

Hoskins owned a delivery service and antique store in Enid. He and Ilo Hunter were married September 19, 1925.

Hoskins was a veteran of World War I, serving with the U.S. Army. He was a member of the American Legion and a former member of the Knights of Pythias. He was the last of nine brothers and sisters.

In addition to his wife Ilo of the home, Hoskins is survived by four sons, Billy Hunter Hoskins of Mesquite, Texas, Earl Dean Hoskins, Enid, Ronald Hoskins, Woodward and Sherril Hoskins, Lafayette, Louisiana; eight grandchildren and a great-great- grandson.
