Services for Opal "Dess" Wallace, age 85, of Lahoma, will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 4, 2022, at Ladusau-Evans Chapel. Burial will follow in the Cherokee Cemetery Cherokee, OK, under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Sunday, August 30th, 1936 - Thursday, January 27th, 2022

A Celebration of Life Service for Opal Odessa "Dess" Wallace age 85 of Lahoma will be 10:00 am Friday, February 4, 2022 at Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Jim Edmison officiating. Burial will follow in the Cherokee Cemetery Cherokee, OK under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Dess was born August 30, 1936 in Lula, OK to Virgil L. and Veilla (Reeves) Bryan and passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Share Medical Center in Alva, OK. Dess married Don Wallace on October 14, 1955 in Jones, OK and he passed away January 22, 2020. She graduated from Byng High school in 1955. She was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church in Drummond.

Dess is survived by her son Rick Wallace and wife Dianna of Cherokee, daughter Regina Wilson and husband Kameron of Freedom, grandson Chase Wallace and wife Wren, and granddaughters; Chelsea Wallace Kornele and husband Brad, Tiffany Wilson Howerton and husband Jared, and Kallie Wilson Humphreys and husband Kyle, great grandchildren; Huxley and Lennon Howerton, Sutton, Dawson, and Rowan Humphreys and Cayton and Brylynn Kornele, and brother Audie Bryan and wife Linda, brother-in-law John Wallace and wife Wanda and Brother-in-law Robert Wallace.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters; Freda Stephens, Bernetta Evans and Alice Craig, and brother William Bryan.

Memorials may be made to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation- Cancer Division with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
