Cherokee Municipal Cemetery


Funeral services for Lois Inez Talley, 82, were at 2 PM Friday at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Mark Walters officiating. Burial was in Cherokee Municipal Cemetery directed by Goodwin Funeral Home. She died December 14, 1993.

She was born February 2, 1911, to Robert Cannon and LoElla Grizzle Wolfe west of Purcell. She graduated from Purcell High School and attended the University of Oklahoma. On July 27, 1935, she married Wesley Olive Talley in Goltry. He died in April 1982. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Cherokee.
