Funeral services for Ferguson B. Noble, 77, who died October 28, 1989, at Kiowa, Kansas, District Hospital, were at 11 AM Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Alan Runge officiating. Burial was in Cherokee Municipal Cemetery directed by Fisher Funeral Home.

He was born July 18, 1912, to Arthur and Emma Brown Noble in Cherokee. He married Roselee E. Root, August 24, 1935, in Cherokee. He was a wood craftsman, member of the Methodist Church and a lifelong resident of Cherokee.

Funeral services for Roselee E. Noble, 80, will be at 2 PM Friday at the First United Methodist Church. The Rev. R. Laney Kuhn, Kiowa, Kansas, will officiate. Burial will be in Cherokee Municipal Cemetery directed by Fisher Funeral Home, Inc. She died November 28, 1994, at Friendship Manor in Kiowa.

Visitation at the funeral home will be from 9 AM to 9 PM Thursday and from 9 to 11 AM Friday.

She was born October 1, 1914, in Harper County, Oklahoma, to Ralph and Eva Lena McManaman Root. She married Ferguson B. Noble on August 24, 1935, in Cherokee. He died October 28, 1989. She was a homemaker who had lived all her married life in Cherokee, moving to Kiowa, Kansas, in 1990. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Cherokee.

She is survived by a son, Roger of Kiowa; a daughter, Sue Riggs of Shreveport, Louisiana; two brothers, Gilbert Root of Afton and Dale Root of Palm Springs, California; five grandsons and one great grandson.

Memorials may be made to the church or to Friendship Manor Activity Fund through the funeral home.
