Cherokee Municipal Cemetery
JESSICA LEANORA LYONS
The funeral for Jessica "Jessie" Leanora Lyons, 20, of Woodward, OK., and formerly of Cherokee, OK., will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 1, 2005, at Cherokee High School Auditorium. The Rev. Ed Jones will officiate. Burial will be in Cherokee Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home, Cherokee. The family will be at the funeral home 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. today.
She was born Sept. 30, 1984, in Alva, OK., to Matt and Audrey "Suzy" Wilson Lyons and died Friday, July 29, 2005, at rural Woodward, OK.
Her family lived in Idaho for a number of years and moved to Cherokee, OK. in 1992. She graduated from Cherokee High School and sang in the choir. She had lived in Woodward since April 2005 where she worked as a bank route carrier for Telesis.
Surviving are her parents, Matt and Suzy Lyons of Woodward, OK.; one brother, Levi, of Cherokee, OK.; two sisters, Lindsey of Woodward, OK. and Jennifer of Helena, OK.; grandparents, Bill and Mary K. Wilson and Jack and Juanell Lyons, all of Ames, OK.; and Irene Stephens of Turkey, TX.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research-Cancer Division.
