ROBERT DEAN LOWER
The funeral for Robert Dean Lower, 61, Cherokee, OK., was Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2005, at First Christian Church with the Rev. Ron Hansen offiiating. Burial was in Cherokee Municipal Cemetery directed by Lanman Funeral Home. He died Sept. 4, 2005, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center, Enid, OK.
He was born April 30, 1944, in Indianapolis, to John Willis and Alvina Lucile Jenkins Lower. He served in the U.S. Navy February 1962 to January 1963. He was employed in construction and maintenance management. He married Linda Z. Montgomery and they had three children. Later he married Linda M. Kramer and they had two children. He married LeAnn Buzek April 14, 1997, and they traveled and lived in different areas. They moved to Cherokee from Harper, KS. in 2004. He attended First Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife of the home; his mother; eight children, Patricia O. King, Robert D. Brinkley, Kay L. Camp, Sandy Cantrell, Chuck D. Lower, Rosilla H. Weaver, Bonetta E. Palmer and Roberta D. Lower; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister and a grandson.
Memorials may be made to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
