ENID, Okla. Marguerite Johnson, 88, daughter of John and Lillian Smith, was born Jan. 1, 1925, east of Ingersoll. She passed away at OU Medical Center Aug. 3, 2013.

Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9, 2013, in Cherokee Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements by Wharton Funeral Chapel.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Dorothy, and Doraine and her husband, Leonard; a brother, Johnny, and his wife, Isla; and brother-in-law Max; and her parents, grandparents and husband, Junior, of 52 years.

She is survived by a sister, her three sons, four granddaughters, four great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
