Independence, Missouri – Graveside services for Robert G. Hendrix, 63, of Independence was at 1 PM Wednesday in Cherokee Municipal Cemetery with the Rev. Gary Hornish officiating. Arrangements were by Fisher Funeral Home. He died December 16, 1991, at M.C.I. Medical Center in Independence.

He was born June 23, 1928, in Cherokee to Albert and Minnie Lee Hendrix. He graduated from Cherokee High School. He married Elois B. Baker October 23, 1981, in Wichita, Kansas. He was a retired automotive salesman and parts manager. He lived in Wichita from 1980 until he moved to Missouri in April 1991. He was a member of Cherokee First Christian Church.
