Services for Elmo R. "Buck" Fallis, 57, were at 11 AM Monday at the Fisher Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Scott Henshaw officiating. Burial was in Cherokee Municipal Cemetery.
He was born February 21, 1931, in Cherokee. He died Thursday in El Paso, Texas.
He was a plumbing contractor.
He graduated from Cherokee High School and lived in Cherokee and also Anthony and Wichita, Kansas, before moving to El Paso 20 years ago.
He is survived by his wife, Jean; sons Michael of Key West, Florida, and Steven of Cherokee; a daughter, Cherri Penoyer of El Paso; a stepson, Randall Eckels of Austin, Texas; three sisters, Lila Eaton of Denver, Colorado, Lola Bontin of Austin, Texas, and Elda (Billie) Jones of Wichita, Kansas, and five grandchildren.

ENID, Okla. — CHEROKEE — Funeral for Jean Norman, 80, will be 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at Bethel Baptist Church.
Burial in Cherokee Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements by Goodwin Funeral Home.
Visitation 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. today and Thursday at the funeral home with the family present 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday.
Jean was born Nov. 28, 1931, in Cherokee to Leonard and Myrtle Stone Hatfield and died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, in Alva.
Surviving are husband, C.L.; sons, Randy, Mike and Steve; three grandchildren; sister, Clydene Edmonds; brother, Ronnie Hatfield; and stepchildren, Ron, Larry and Janis.
Preceded by two husbands, Vernan and Buck, and one daughter.
