Cherokee Municipal Cemetery

Services for Thelma J. Duncan, 79, who died Saturday at Wichita, Kansas, were at 10:30 AM Monday at the First Baptist Church of Cherokee with the Rev. Tom Cooksey officiating.

Burial was at Cherokee Municipal Cemetery, directed by Fisher Funeral Home.

She was born September 9, 1907, near Freedom and married John Duncan July 21, 1926, at Enid. He died in 1967. Survivors include two sons, Clark, Wichita, and Don, Mobile, Alabama; a daughter, Mary Lou Ellis, Wichita; a brother, Walter Fisher, Canyon, Texas; a sister, Mary Koch, Wichita; 10 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Wichita through the funeral home.
