Cherokee Municipal Cemetery


Funeral services for Glenn Ira Davis, 79, were at 2 PM Monday at First Christian Church with the Rev. Gary Hornish officiating. Burial was in Cherokee Municipal Cemetery. Goodwin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He was born July 8, 1911, and died July 27, 1990, at his home Southeast of Cherokee.

He attended a rural gradeschool and graduated from Jet High School. He and Erma Romine were married July 8, 1941. They made their home Southeast of Cherokee where he lived most of his life.

He was a member of First Christian Church, Cherokee Eastern Star, Corinthian Lodge 307 of Cherokee and Guthrie Consistory.
