June Paulette Cross went to be with the Lord on February 2, 2018. She was 72 years old.
She was born n November 19, 1945 to William Paul Hutson and June Ladene Jenlink Hutson in Cherokee, Oklahoma. She attended school in Jet, OK from kindergarten through the 12th grade. On October 31, 1973, she married Wilbur Pressnall and the couple was blessed with a son. Having been an “only child” herself, Paulette cherished Darren. Paulette worked as a deputy city administrator for the city of Ponca City. In 1989 she married Richard Cross. She enjoyed cooking for her family and hosting large gatherings. There were never too many mouths to feed. She had a knack for growing beautiful flowers in her garden. She spent a lot of time watching her grandsons play sports. She was a proud grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Cross, son Darren and wife Alysa Pressnall and three grandsons Bradyn, Bryce and Brantley Pressnall all of Ponca City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Wilbur Pressnall, and a baby sister.
A funeral service, under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel, will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 10th at Albright Methodist Church in Ponca City. Burial will follow at the Cherokee Municipal Cemetery, located on south Grand Avenue in Cherokee, Oklahoma at 2:00 p.m.
Paulette's grandsons will be pallbearers for the service.
