Bobbie Coleman Allen
June 15, 1935 ~ June 9, 2022 (age 86)

Bobbie was born June 15, 1935 in Washington, Oklahoma to Irene and Russell Allen and passed from this life on June 9, 2022 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 86. He owned and operated White Electric as an electrician for 30 years in Cherokee. In his younger days he was a custom harvester.

He had been married three times with the last being Myrna Young on November 30, 2000 in Miami.

He attended the Bible Baptist Church of Cherokee. Bobbie is a retired Cherokee volunteer fire fighter. He was a member of the Cherokee rod and gun club and Good Sam's camping club. Bobbie spent his time gardening, woodworking, and spending time at the coffee shop with his friends. Bobbie always had a smile on his face and a joke to tell.

Bobbie is survived by three children: daughter, Lou-Ann Scram and husband, Russ of Florida; son, Bucky Bell and wife, Helen of Cherokee; daughter, Bobbie Vogelsong of Cherokee; grandchildren, Jason West, Kassandra Evans, Amanda Alexander, Tyson West, Leila Smith, Roxanne Smith, Crystal Smith, Katrena Ellick, Susan Shahan, Timothy James, Zachery James, Austin James, William James, Katelynn Dahn, Casey Vogelsong, and many great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Myrna Allen; parents, Irene and Russell Allen; sister, Billie Ruth Clark; son, Coleman Allen; son, Jimmy Allen; daughter, Debbie West; nephew, Billie Lynn Clark and Dale Dee Clark.

Graveside service for Bobbie will be Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 10 a.m. at the Cherokee Municipal Cemetery with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Cherokee. Viewing will be Monday, June 13, 2022 from 10 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Private viewing for family only from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. www.lanmanmemorials.com Facebook: Lanman Funeral Home Inc.

Memorials may be given to Cherokee Volunteer Fire Department through the funeral home.
