Pearl Nancy McDowell, age 84, of OKC, passed away May 11, 2012. She was born February 5, 1928, in Hinton, OK.

Pearl is survived by one daughter, Diane Cothran & husband Rick; three sons, John McDowell & wife LeCena, Leland McDowell & wife Helen, and Dean McDowell & wife Sandy; two sisters, Mary Ging and Essie Lumpkin; three brothers, Bob, Clyde and Kenneth Thomas; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 14, 2012, at Southgate Pentecostal Holiness Church, 206 S. Janeway, Moore, OK.

Interment will be held at 4 p.m. at Carmen Cemetery, Carmen, OK.

Family suggests, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pearl's honor to Southgate Pentecostal Holiness Church, Moore, OK; or Apache Pentecostal Holiness Church, Apache, OK.

The family will receive family and friends from 3-6 p.m. Sunday, May 13, 2012.

Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel, Moore, OK.

Alvin Nyle McDowell went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 30, 2010; his wife, Pearl, and four children were by his side.

Alvin McDowell is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Nancy Pearl McDowell, and his children, John and wife LeCena McDowell, Diane and husband Rick Cothran, Lee and wife Helen McDowell, Dean and wife Sandy McDowell. Gramps also had seven grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Alvin is preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Ella McDowell, and his brothers, Sam, Bill, Earl and Frankie; sisters, Violet Bailey and Evelyn Phillips.

His sister Rosetta still resides in north Oklahoma City with her husband Don Womack.

Viewing will be held 2:30 p.m. Sunday, October 3, 2010, at John M. Ireland Funeral Home Chapel, Moore, OK.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday, October 4, 2010, at Southgate Pentecostal Holiness Church, Moore, OK.

Interment will be 5 p.m. October 4, 2010, at Carmen City Cemetery, Carmen, OK.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Southgate Pentecostal Holiness Church, P.O. Box 6293, Moore, OK 73153.

Services are under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel, Moore, OK.
