Josephine “Jo” Elizabeth Littrell was born November 8, 1935, in Edenton, Georgia, daughter of Will and Eckie (Smith) Linch. She graduated from Monticello High School and attended Young Harris College. On December 26, 1957, Jo was united in marriage to Erwin Jackie Littrell at Monticello, Georgia. She enjoyed raising her family, gardening her flowers, sewing clothes for her children and reading. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Williamsburg, Virginia, where she had been active in various committees.

Jo passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at the Highland Ridge Care Center in Williamsburg at the age of 85.

She is survived by two sons, Martin Littrell of Cedar Rapids; and Scott (Kay) Littrell of Thornburg; two daughters, Phyllis (Kevin) Lund of Marengo; and Debra Doty of Amana; thirteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and a brother, Pete (Doris) Linch of Plano, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, Sarah and Eckie and two brothers, William and Pat.

Celebration Of Life Service was held at 2 p.m. on Monday, August 2, 2021, at the St. Paul United Methodist Church in Williamsburg with Pastor John Christianson officiating. Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Carmen Cemetery in Carmen, Oklahoma. Messages and tributes may be directed to http://www.powellfuneralhomes.com.
