Carmen Cemetery


A graveside service for Wesley Pierce Hoffman, 67, will be 1:30 p.m. Monday in Carmen Cemetery. Van Hudson will officiate. Arrangements are by Wentworth Mortuary LLC, Carmen.

He was born Sept. 7, 1940, at Hobbs, N.M., to Vernon and Violet Crusinbery Hoffman and died Monday, Feb. 11, 2008, at Lexington.

He attended Alva Public Schools and later earned his GED. He served in the Army. After his discharge, he worked as a mechanic. He married Loretta McKinley July 8, 1968, in Texas. They made their home in Carmen, Guthrie and Waynoka.

Surviving are one son, Wesley Hoffman, and one grandson, both of Guthrie.

He was preceded in death by one brother.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation for cancer research.
