Carmen – Services for Mrs. O. L. (Daisy) Gregory, 73, will be at 2:30 PM Sunday at the United Methodist Church in Carmen with the Rev. Ray Crawford officiating. Burial will be in Carmen City Cemetery by Wentworth Mortuary of Carmen.
Mrs. Gregory died suddenly Wednesday of an apparent heart attack. She was born in Logan County May 29, 1914, and after her marriage to O. L. Gregory lived west of Carmen. He died March 14, 1976.
She was active in community and civic affairs in Carmen and in a number of organizations, including the United Methodist Church, Daughters of the American Revolution, Oklahoma Genealogical Society, Rebekah Lodge, Order of Eastern Star, 4 – H club the County Republican organization.
Mrs. Gregory is survived by a daughter, Mrs. George (Helen) Franck of Rock Island, Illinois; two sons, Dr. Jack C. of Carmen and Dr. J. A. of Muskogee; a brother, Lloyd Decker of Denver, Colorado; five grandchildren and six great – grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother.
Memorials to designated charities may be made through the funeral home.
