Carmen Cemetery


The funeral for Barbara Lee Cox, 63, of Carmen, will be 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, 2009, at Wentworth Chapel, Carmen. The Rev. John Bizzell will officiate. Burial will be in Carmen City Cemetery.

She was born Nov. 17, 1946, in Cherokee to William Virgil and Lois Maxine Gagabin Clark and died Monday, Nov. 30, 2009, at St. John Medical Center, Tulsa.

She attended school in Pryor.

She married Don Cox May 29, 1964, in Pryor, where they made their home before moving to Carmen five years ago. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Carmen.

Surviving are her husband, Don, of the home; one son, Donnie Cox of Pryor; two daughters, Ginger Hooker of Bartlesville and Karla Livingston of Carmen; two brothers, Bill Clark of Van Buren, Mo., and Boyd Clark of Owasso; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Carmen First Responders or Friends of the Library.
