Funeral service will be April 4 at 2 p.m. at the Driftwood Christian Church with David Atzenweiler and Rod Rieger officiating. Burial will follow in the Byron-Amorita Cemetery under the direction of Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Cherokee.
Billy is survived by his wife, Ruth; four sons, Danny Ferrell and wife, Denise of Stillwater, Dennis Ferrell and wife, Diane, Mickey Ferrell and wife, Sheila and Monty Ferrell and wife Linda, all of rural Burlington; eleven grandchildren: Abe of Stillwater, Luke of Dallas, Holly Shaull and husband, Steve of Norman, Blake of Stillwater, Savanna and Sarah of rural Burlington, Amber Guffy and husband, Danny of Byron, Bo of Stillwater, Jessy, Jessica and Julia of rural Burlington; four brothers, Tommy Ferrell and wife, Alyce of Kiowa, Kansas, Teddy Ferrell and wife, Margie of Wichita, Kansas, Henry Ferrell of Kiowa, Kansas and Benny Ferrell and wife, Adele of Newton, Kansas; two sister, Rosalie Morgan of rural Burlington and Dolly Daniels and husband, Bill of Cherokee; two sister-in-laws, Betty Ferrell and Nyla Maxfield of Attica, Kansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Bobby Ferrell and Jim Ferrell, one sister, Pauline Collings and twin daughters, Cathy and Connie.
Memorials may be made to the Driftwood Christian Church, Burlington Educational Foundation - FFA Fund or Burlington Fire and Rescue through Lanman Funeral Home, Inc.
