Wayne Raymond Bowers
October 29, 1945 ~ May 20, 2021 - 75 Years Old
Wayne Raymond Bowers was born on October 29, 1945 in Clarksville, Tennessee, son of Raymond Hart Bowers and Bessie Louise Smith Bowers and passed from this life on May 20, 2021 at his home in Helena.
He was a U.S. Marine in the Vietnam War from 1966 to 1968. He retired from the Oklahoma Department of Correction in Helena in 2012.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Bessie Bowers and his sister, Joyce Allen.
He is survived by his wife, Donna; his brother, Harold Bowers and wife, Alice and many cousins.
Funeral service for Wayne will be Sunday, May 23, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Helena First Christian Church. Burial will follow at Byron-Amorita Cemetery with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Helena. Memorials may be given to St. Jude's Children's Hospital through the funeral home.
