Wichita, Kansas – Graveside service for Harold Frank Angle, 64, will be at 2 PM today in Byron – Amorita Cemetery. The Rev. Gary Hornish will officiate. Arrangements are by Goodson Funeral Home, Cherokee.
He was born December 3, 1930, in Cherokee to William Frank and Grace Inace Kooken Angle and died Monday, August 1, 1994 at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita. He grew up in the Byron – Amorita area and attended school there.
On July 31, 1954, he married Betty Lee Hill at the home of his sister near Amorita. He served with the United States Marines from 1950 to 1954, then worked for Cessna Aircraft as a welder. He later began work at St. Francis Hospital in building maintenance. He attended the Christian Church.
Surviving are his wife; one son, Rodney E. Angle of Wichita; one brother, Bob L. of Martinsburg, Virginia; three sisters, Lulu Andrews of Greeley, Colorado, Rose Meeks of Mound Valley, Kansas, and Betty Ann Robison of Concordia, Missouri; and one granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, three brothers and three sisters.

Amorita – Graveside service for Betty Lee Hill Angle, 59, will be at 2 PM Thursday in the Byron – Amorita Cemetery. The Rev. Gary Hornish will officiate. Arrangements are by Goodwin Funeral Home, Cherokee.
She was born March 22, 1935, two miles east of Amorita to Lenard Owen and Clara Gertrude Angle Hill and died Monday, September 19, 1994, at the Manor Care Nursing Home in Wichita, Kansas. She attended Amorita schools, graduating in 1953. She was active in sports and the 4 – H Club. She retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company after 38 years of service, working one year in Cherokee and the remainder in Wichita.
On July 31, 1954, she married Harold Frank Angle in the home of her sister north of Amorita. He died August 1, 1994.
Surviving are one son, Rodney Eugene Angle of Wichita; three brothers, Dan Earl Hill of Titus, Florida, James Owen Hill of Mobile, Alabama, and Sam Hill of Porterville, California; two sisters, Carrie Powell of Winfield, Kansas, and Dixie Hammond of Amorita; and one granddaughter.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters and one son.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the American Cancer Society.
