Funeral services for Debra Kay Anderson will be Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Bible Baptist Church with Reverend John Clapp officiating. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. in Byron-Amorita Cemetery.

Debra Kay, daughter of Opal (Menefee) and Clyde Whitely, was born February 16, 1951 in Alva, Oklahoma. She passed away at Share Medical Center on the 31st of December at the age of 61 years, 10 months and 15 days.
She attended the Alva School System and graduated with the class of 1970.
On May 27, 1995 Debra married John Anderson in Cherokee, Oklahoma.
Following their marriage they made their home in Alva where she had an in home day care for a few years.
Debra attended and was baptized at the Bible Baptist Church. She enjoyed doing ceramics and crocheting.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Mary Ann Whitely and Josephine Bush; two brothers, Charles and Vernon. Debra is survived by her loving husband, John; a sister Arlene Hada and two brothers, Darrell and Gary.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society.
