Carolyn Cecile was born April 26, 1952, to Earl Wilbur and Edna Jessie (Classen) Gray and passed from this life on March 23, 2018 at her home after a battle with cancer. Carolyn grew up in the Longdale/Canton communities and graduated from Canton High School. Following high school Carolyn went on to graduate from Beauty School. She and Dennis Eugene Maze were married on December 30, 1974 at the Cedar Springs Nazarene Church. Carolyn and Dennis were blessed with three children; Amy, Rosalyn and Dennis Jr.
Carolyn was a loving wife and mother. She was a homemaker all of her married life. Rescuing animals was her passion and her five fur babies will miss her dearly. Carolyn had a huge heart for others and enjoyed remembering them on special occasions by sending cards. She rarely missed a birthday. Church dinners and the fellowship with friends brought her so much pleasure. Carolyn had a green thumb and loved plants and flowers, sewing and a good garage sale, but her greatest treasure was her family.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Amy at the age of 15 months.
Surviving her are: Dennis, her husband of 43 years, son, Dennis Eugene and daughter, Rosalyn, all, of the home, one brother John Gray and many nephews, nieces and friends.
Memorials may be made to “His Hand Extended Church” with the funeral home acting as custodian of the funds.
