Bethel Cemetery


Z. E. Hill funeral today in Cherokee

Cherokee – Z. E. Hill, 80, died early Saturday morning in a Cherokee hospital, following an illness of several months.

The funeral will be 3 PM today in the Amorita school building. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery in Amorita.

He was a member of the Assembly of God church.

Survivors include his widow, Emily Jane, of the home in Amorita; three sons, Leonard and Pleasant Hill, both of Amorita, and Orth, Wichita, Kansas; four daughters, Mrs. Opal Sherman, Amorita; Mrs. Gladys Bradley, Amorita; Mrs. Aouda Hankey, Anthony, Kansas, and Viola White, Wichita, Kansas; one brother; 22 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren.
